A Purpose Beyond the (Skate) Park
Founded in 2021, Caprock Skateboards is dedicated to creating a brighter future where unforgettable rides in thriving environments are guaranteed. Though our brand has grown, our goal has remained the same: to create an inclusive community of people who care about the environment and all things skateboarding.
To reinforce our mission, we’ve partnered with Eden Reforestation Projects and pledged to donate a portion of our proceeds toward planting trees in sensitive ecosystems, resulting in five planted trees per order. So when you ride a Caprock skateboard, you can do so with the knowledge that you’re supporting a worthy cause.

Born to Skateboard
If you’re reading this, we’re willing to bet that you love skateboarding, watching skateboarding, or collecting skateboards. Unsurprisingly, we feel the same way on all fronts.
That’s where our story starts–a love of skateboarding. Our founder Alec Benton first fell for the sport when he was just ten years old. He partnered with local skate shops in his hometown of Grapevine, Texas to elevate the skateboarding community and connect with fellow skateboarders.
His passion followed him into college, where he realized a second but just as important passion–the environment. He never appreciated nature more than when it served as the backdrop for some of his most memorable rides, so he began researching ways to make the sport more inclusive and sustainable. Ultimately, he arrived at his destination: Caprock Skateboards.
